Mission: Sorority and Fraternity life is committed to providing a space for members to live their values through diverse programming, education and engagement while building affinity to Florida International University. Sorority and Fraternity life provides resources for chapter success and accountability through advising and support with the purpose of creating future leaders in a global community.
“We, the Sorority and Fraternity community at Florida International University, respect and embrace the diversity of our university. Collectively, we commit to uphold and acknowledge the values and ideals which our organizations hold sacred. We will set an example through our programming and events that we will not tolerate any actions that are considered demeaning. This is including but not limited to: gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, age, body image, and socio-economic status. We promise to abide by this statement and to hold our members accountable to these standards.” ~ Adopted Fall 2008 by Council and Chapter presidents.
